Our Core Beliefs - excerpts

God exists eternally and reveals Himself in the Trinity. He is a holy and perfect living God who is the source of all life.

Jesus Christ exists eternally and is one with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. While the Son of God was on the earth He was human and without sin. He came to earth to be Savior of the world and give eternal life.

The Holy Spirit exists eternally and is one with God the Father and God the Son. The Spirit awakens sinners in their need for salvation, and brings understanding of Jesus.  The Spirit resides in every believer forever.

The Bible is God’s written revelation of Himself and His redemptive plan for humankind and is infallible.

People are the crowning jewels of God’s creation. God desires our obedience and wants to enjoy a mutually loving and personal relationship with people forever.

Salvation is a gift that cannot be earned and is only possible by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s provision for sin.

The Church is the only institution founded by Christ, and it has been established to carry out the ministry of Jesus in the world. It is composed of baptized believers who come together to worship, serve, grow spiritually, and witness to the world.
