Senior Pastor

Zion Baptist Church, a Southern Baptist Church located in Parksley on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Virginia, is seeking a lead/senior pastor who is:

Jackson Memorial Baptist Church, 4316 Bruce Road, Chesapeake, is seeking to hire a bookkeeper to provide accounting services for all church financial needs.  It is a part-time position, 15 hours/week, with flexible hours, preferably 9am to 2:30pm, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.  Responsibilities include maintaining a general ledger and general journal, manage bank accounts, maintain accounts payable and cash receipts, maintain contribution records and donor statements, interface with payroll processor, provide reports as requested, and related work as required.  Qualifications include accounting/bookkeeping experience, knowledge of accounting software, knowledge of Microsoft Suite software, conscientious work ethic on collaborative and independent assignments, live in commuting area, and not be a JMBC member.  The candidate should provide references and agree to a background check. Church Pianist
