First Annual Norfolk Public Bible Reading

We have the opportunity of a lifetime to share God’s word directly and publicly with the City of Norfolk. The 1st Annual Norfolk Public Bible Reading is coming to Ocean View Park this September 10-12, from 10am-6pm.  This event will unite the local churches, meet the city where people are, be obedient to God’s word in its public reading.  We need you!  Christian volunteers who are willing to read the entire New Testament from Matthew through Revelation in one weekend.  Bring out your church, your friends, your family, the unchurched and unbeliever for the public reading of Scripture.

 

If you are unable to participate, love offerings will be accepted.  Offerings will help cover the costs of electronics, advertising, track cards, banners, signs, Bibles to give to the community, cleaning and disinfectant supplies.

Reading times are set up in 10-minute increments.  Time slots may be reserved by entire churches or individuals.

NOTES:

• Readers must be professing Christians.

• Reading times are set up in 10 minute increments. Readers will pick up where the previous reader left off.

• Readers please be 30 minutes early to your reading time for check in.

• Bring your own Bible (NIV, ESV, KJV, or NASB) or a Large Print ESV will be available if needed.

• All languages are welcomed.
